A contribution to SCIENCE.
“An Experimental Study of Homophily in the Adoption of Health Behavior” is an article by Dr. Damon Centola published in this month’s issue of Science. I was privileged to collaborate with Dr. Centola and his team on the project. The article describes a carefully controlled experiment in social networks and how the network’s structure and the perceived similarities and...

Social Media for Social Justice?
It’s been a month since the SXSW interactive conference in Austin, and the event continues to gnaw at me. All of us can’t help but notice that the content on facebook, tumblr, and twitter is centered on us: we’re busy tweeting about ourselves, making virtual ‘friends’, accumulating followers, so on. But it’s not until you put 7,000 technologists in a gigantic...

He and his iRobot Roomba are settling into a comfortable new appartment here in Brattleboro. We’re very glad he’s back!
